Z6 Commissioning mobilized to perform high voltage electronic leak detection (ELD) testing at the 609 Main office tower; the building is a brand new 1,050,000-square-foot, mixed-use property located in Houston, Texas, reaching 50 stories in height. The building was listed by Bisnow Houston as one of the 14 projects changing the face of American cities and is pre-registered LEED®, with an expectation to attain Platinum certification upon completion. The building entails approximately 30,000-square-feet of green roof area on the buildings 12th, 13th, and 49th floor, that have had hot applied waterproofing applied to deck and planter boxes. These waterproofed areas were tested in accordance with ASTM D7877 and deficiencies identified by Z6 Commissioning personnel.
